Even the tiny tots of Rosary School derive great delight in operating the ‘magic machine’.

The open air stage is a venue for the exhibition of the children’s talents and a boon to the school. The number of celebrations throughout the year add much colour to the student’s life in school. A long cherished dream of an auditorium for all seasons come rain or shine came into reality under the able guidance of Sr.Leena D’Souza FMM when Sr.Merlyn D’Sa FMM the Provincial laid the foundation on 16th November 1990. The LKG section was started by Sr.Teresa Xavier FMM, former Principal to appease and to encourage the little ones who showed great interest in accompanying their elder sisters to school. The house system introduced in 1953 assures a feeling of security to every member of the house-Fatima, Loretto, Lourdes and Carmel. Sr.Rose Grace, FMM and Ms.Chandrika are always ready to listen to children and help them come out of their problems. Their kind and gentle approach has helped many a child to cope with problems with confidence and to develop a positive self esteem.

Environmental Awareness

Being an FMM institution with st.Francis of Assissi, as the patron of the environment, the need to nurture & celebrate Nature and Creature is given impetus.

An awareness for clean and green environment is instilled in the students. The students are encouraged to maintain the school campus clean and green. The school received the green campus Award at the 19th Students Book Fair in 2005. As the school takes many steps in promoting awarness about the environment, it was given the Green School Initiative Award by the CP Art Centre. In January 2010 the school released a Magazine which was centered on the theme of preserving and protecting our environment. A grand function marked the release of the Magazine, which was presided over by the then, Education. Minister for Schools, Thiru.Thangam Thenarasu.

To ensure that the past pupils are not only aware of the rapid strides in the field of education but also to participate in promoting the same, the Alumni Association of  Rosary was restarted in December 2009. The credit of initiating the same has to be attributed to Sr.Sriya Pushpam then  Principal of  Rosary. The Rosary school has carved a niche in the history of education in its own unique way and it has all along been steered by tender but firm hands form Sr.Mary Proinsas to Sr.Mary Zacharia FMM.

The journey ahead is promising with the hand of God leading.

In the words of Mother Mary of the passion
